Puppy Boot Camp is an awesome way to get your puppy started with learning the skills that prevent poor behaviors later. Julie can assist in helping you with breed selection and finding your puppy if you don’t already have it. Or if you have had your puppy for a while and realize it needs more guidance than you are able to provide, call and we will discuss when to get started. It’s not too late to have a restart.
Once your registration is complete, Julie will call to set a start date and and/or discuss necessary details if the puppy is coming from a breeder. Training starts immediately in Julie’s home and lasts for two months.
Boot Camp includes
- breed selection and assistance with finding a puppy
- two months of live-in training in Julie’s home
- two or three weekend home visits with a schedule and homework
- veterinarian visits for routine vaccinations
- a complete Fast Start Puppy Kit with toys, training leash, collar, and more ($100 value!)
Training is focused on
- The five basic commands (sit, stay, come, down and heel)
- Crate training
- Potty training
- Proper play
- Socializing in various settings
COST $3,000
$250 deposit due with registration.
Balance ($2,750) due the first week of Boot Camp.
PLEASE NOTE
- Weekend Home Stay – Your puppy will come home to stay with you at least two weekends during the two months of training. This includes Friday – Sunday. During the home visits you will be beginning the bonding process and will continue to support all training that has been started. Julie provides written instructions and your dog’s schedule.
- Vet visits – Julie takes your puppy to the vet at least twice for shots. You are responsible for all vet expenses for your puppy during training. Julie will let you know when the appointment is and you are invited to come.
